A Jamaa Al-Yad project

10-page newspaper printed in conjunction with Al-Akhbar newspaper in Beirut, Lebanon. Printed in 2010, these are the only copies remaining. This was created as part of the Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) project at the American University of Beirut in May 2010.

The newspaper contains 8 full page posters with illustrations created in either linocut or scratchboard. The theme involved daily life in Palestine, with references to those profiting from the occupation of Palestine. Each poster is paired with a Lebanese proverb, set in square Kufic Arabic, that shows solidarity and speaks metaphorically of the eventual triumph of justice.
