This poster was produced to commemorate the Naksa or “setback”, the 1967 war that Israel waged that resulted in the loss of the Sanai, the Golan, East Jerusalem, and the West Bank. While a dark moment in history, it nonetheless planted the seeds that will lead to eventual victory and a restoration of Palestine to its rightful denizens.
Lower text in Arabic reads Naksa or “setback”; upper text readers Nasr or “victory”.
